Tom Watson Watermelon Festival (August 2)
Nothing says summer in the South like fresh, cold watermelon. This family-fun event celebrates all things watermelon! There are cash prizes for the largest Tom Watson variety watermelon. Win prizes for watermelon recipes, kids contests, and the watermelon eating contest. Music, food, crafts, games, and tours of Tom Watson's historic house, Hickory Hill. Be sure to take home a free melon!
